Saturday 22nd March - THE WEST END JAZZ BAND and guests £4/5 ( Members/non-Members) Saturday 5th April – TIM KLIPHUIS (Netherlands) on Violin with Nigel Clark (guitar) and Roy Percy (bass). An evening of virtuoso violin in the style of Stephan Grapelli, backed by top guitar and bass work. £6/7 ( Members/non-Members) Tickets to be booked in advance. Saturday 19th April - THE WEST END JAZZ BAND and guests £4/5 ( Members/non-Members) Saturday 10th May – THE RED HOT REED WARMERS (Paris) Stephan Guillot has played twice before at the club with Daniels Jazz Puddleurs, a young band from Burgundy. Now resident in Paris, he is one of the two reed players who form the front line in a marvelous band that pays homage to the clarinet player Jimmy Noone from the 1920’s. The other member of the front line also happens to be his girlfriend. The excellent rhythm section comprises sousaphone, banjo and drums. £7/8 ( Members/non-Members) Tickets to be booked in advance. Saturday 31st May – JEFF BARNHART, piano (USA) with the West End Jazz Band If you have seen him before, you will remember Jeff from one of his previous six visits to the club. Superb piano from ragtime to stride to swing. The evening will also feature Anne Barnhart on flute. £6/7( Members/non-Members) Tickets to be booked in advance. Dick Lee on clarinets and sax’s, Roy Percy (double bass), John Russell and Stephen Coutts (guitars), make a welcome return, with the music of Django Rheinhart and the Hot Club of France. £6/7 (Members/non-Members) Tickets to be booked in advance.   Membership subscriptions for 2008 (£5 single or double) can be paid on your first visit to the club in 2008.
